Well, when
my week that now is about to finish was starting and I take a glance to the
week’s readings, I thought: boy, make
room for a good reading session! And so I did; it was not for the quantity but
the quality! now I can tell there was no
waste of time read so much info about the CALL technologies, I must confess
that I have no previous info about these research fields, that’s why I visit
and revisit all the material, it was good for me to know (via your comments or
post) that most of us use the music for our students. However I have to admit
that my use of this resource (music) was kind of poor compared with some cool
sites you recommend. This is for better; because of your links I could improve
my listening-teaching methods. I have attended a lot of lectures and
presentations of ESL teacher training, but I consider, that here into the real
teachers is where I am learning more than ever, when I read something new I become
an exited teacher that wants to check everything, and my mind begins to fly;
How can I use this with my kiddos?, When?, How? Only that now I know why to use it.

Delicious came
in the better moment to me, before this my links were quite a mess, now they’re
a mess online! (But all together and accessible all the time online.)
The project
was good to give me a general idea of what is expected from me
when I have to do mine, (hope so!)
Hi, Poncho~
ReplyDeleteNice to see you online.
It seems like you have learned a lot this week.
What makes me keep on thinking is the final project.
Each week we learn something new and step by step we apply them to our class. That's very exciting and worth challenging myself.
So I am looking forward to planning and developing my final project with the passage of time.
I hope I will be able to share with you more about our final report each week.
Thank you.
Hi Poncho,You really work so hard, even you're an experienced teacher. When I check your introduction in week 1, I have to say I'm honor to know you."Be cultivated to be free" is that means to be free through learning?I think that will be great to be your student. Some beautiful songs are really good for children from different ages. Thanks for your sharing.
ReplyDeletehi there Justin,
Deletewell the phrase is in spanish the original; where you read be cultivated means to be educated, leearned person, exactly as you describe, it is not mine, I read it in a book from a Cuban Heroe called: Ernesto Che Guevara, (tales from the road)
anyway thanks for the comment, and here we are to share and to learn to be cult and free!
Hi Poncho,
DeleteIs that book named "Diarios de motocicleta"?I know a few of this Hero.In our country,we can see his portrait typed "Che" on clothes and other accessories.I think he is really a model for human being they want to know what is free?I hope I just talked about the same man.:)
Best wishes
Jenda
Hi there Poncho,
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you. I am Aloysia from Malaysia. You can call me Aloy. I must say that I totally agree with you that this is one place or moment that I am learning more than I ever in any given time of my life. Like you, I too get excited with I read some interesting ideas or comments. I am really honoured to be part of this class as I can see that so many of my classmates are so experience and have so much to share and that includes you. Do keep up the great work of sharing. I look forward to the coming week.
